π― About the Competition
Through the Lens: Mutual Understanding and Living Together invites photographers to capture and reflect themes of mutual understanding, human connection, and co-existence. The competition provides a platform for photographers of all skill levels to share their unique perspectives and promote visual storytelling that fosters empathy between people and cultures.
π How It Works:
β Participants must submit their photographs digitally, along with their full name and a brief description of their work.
β Participation is free of charge.
β Submitted photographs must not have been used in any previous competition.
β Photos must be in PNG or JPEG format, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
β Minor edits and color adjustments are allowed.
β If identifiable individuals appear in the photos, participants must obtain their permission before submission.
β Selected photographs will be showcased on our website.
β A combination of public voting and evaluations by a professional jury of experienced photographers will determine the final results.
This competition is part of an international collaboration between Dunaj Institute Dialogue and Balturka Cultural Academy. Each participating country will host its own national competition and select two winners. These six finalists will advance to the Grand Final in Poland.
During the final event, selected photographers will present their work and the overall winners will be announced.
By entering the competition, participants agree that their submitted photographs may be used by Pigi KoinSEp, Balturka Cultural Academy, and the Dunaj Institute Dialogue on social media and other promotional materials.
